WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO IN PATTAYA DURING THAILAND TOUR

Pattaya - in one word, the "Las Vegas of the East". There is a good saying about Pattaya "You want it - Pattaya has it". There is almost nothing that Pattaya can't offer you. This seaside beach destination can fulfill your every desire. With the easy access of international tourism, Pattaya in Thailand has become a heaven for solo man travelers. From beautiful ladies, ladyboys, freelancers to low-cost bars and massage parlor, you can live life in Pattaya.

But before you make your Bangkok Pattaya plan, some things you must keep in your mind, basically some norms that you must follow or should not do during your Pattaya Tour.

  • Do not wear gold or carry your valuables with you. You can be a target of snatchers or robbers.
  • Try to avoid hiring Jet Ski. It's a scam run by some local syndicate that will certainly cost you some extra bucks after you finish your ride. So be aware.
  • Thai food is so delicious even the street food is so yum. But do not try every food you find else you can confine yourself through quality time in any street-side toilet and that would be the worst experience for your Thailand Tour.
  • Do not smoke on the beach or beachside road. It is illegal in Pattaya.
  • Don't disrespect towards Thai Royal Family.
  • Don't bring or try to buy any illegal drug in Thailand. You may be put behind the bar and believe me, your experience will not be good.
  • Don't touch the top or head of any Thai people or Buddhist monk. It is a disrespectful gesture.
  • Don’t point anything with your feet, it is a disrespectful manner in Thai culture.
  • Always use the right hand when greeting or handshaking with the people.
  • Do not wear a hat inside any Thai temple.
  • Always take off your shoes before entering any house or temple.
  • Going shirtless in allowed on the beach or streetwalking, but not permissible in restaurants, shops,s or public buildings.
  • Don't get nude on the beach or topless while sunbathing. Though it is not an uncommon scene in Thai beaches, it is the norm also to get the cover-up.
  • Don't touch or pass anything to monks. Monks are not allowed to take anything or touch females. Put your offerings into their alms basket.
